License & terms
This page covers plans and activation, plus a user-facing EULA summary. The in-app Settings → License screen is authoritative for your build.
A 14-day trial starts on first launch with full Pro capabilities (multi-engine ASR, intent model, shell, custom history). When it ends, Free gates re-apply without relaunching.
Activate Pro
Section titled “Activate Pro”- Open Settings → License.
- Paste a
VH1-…key. - On success the plan badge shows Pro.
Keys verify offline with Ed25519 — no account login.
After trial without a key you stay on Free:

A previously selected Pro cloud engine may be clamped — switch back to Apple, an on-device model, or Doubao, or activate a key. Full matrix: Plans.
Terms of use (EULA summary)
Section titled “Terms of use (EULA summary)”By installing or using the Software you agree to the following (full legal text is maintained by the operator; if anything conflicts with the running app, your build’s UI wins for entitlements):
- License — limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable use on Macs you own or control, under a valid trial or license.
- Plans — Trial / Free / Pro; gates may change between versions.
- Do not — circumvent license/trial, redistribute cracked builds or keys, use shell for unlawful activity, or violate third-party ASR/LLM terms.
- Automation risk — the app can inject hotkeys and, if enabled, run local
zsh. Blocklists are best-effort. You are responsible for actions on your machine. - Third parties — ASR/LLM are BYOK; fees and availability are between you and those providers.
- Updates — Sparkle (or similar) may check for updates; you can disable checks. Local Only Mode pauses update checks.
- Disclaimer — provided “AS IS”; liability limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- Refunds — 14 days via the Polar order. Include your order ID; never paste a license key in public. Details: Buy Pro.
- Termination — commercial license may end for material breach; Free limits may still apply afterward.
