Check for updates

VoiceHotkey uses Sparkle to check its configured update feed, with EdDSA update-signature verification configured.

Installer distribution and sales are temporarily paused, and the update feed currently offers no new installer. Check the current status. License activation and support remain available for existing customers.

Check & install

Section titled “Check & install”
  • Settings → About → Updates → Check for Updates
  • Check for Updates in the menu bar

Configure Check automatically on the About page. It is on by default with a scheduled interval of one day. Checking automatically and installing automatically are separate settings; automatic installation is off by default.

The About page’s Download installer link opens the download status page.

Local Only Mode

Section titled “Local Only Mode”

Local Only pauses automatic checks and blocks manual checks; the About page disables its check controls. Turning Local Only off restores the previous automatic-check preference.

To check online, temporarily turn Local Only off. Installer availability is shown on the download status page.
