When busy

If a session is already recording, or recognize / polish / execute is still running, another start is ignored and the HUD shows a busy hint (finish first, or Esc / voicehotkey://cancel). stop / toggle / cancel still apply as named.

Command mode also respects Enable voice commands: when that master switch is off, mode=command will not start the command pipeline. See Voice commands.

Shortcuts (host = page)

These are equivalent to tab/… and are useful in launchers:
